Second backpacking trip in two weeks. If only I could always live like this! Brought my girlfriend along this time. The weather was beautiful and the destination, Lady Lake in the Ansel Adams Wilderness, was like nothing I'd ever seen!
Taken from a shallow spot in the middle of the lake
Halfway up the granite monolith surrounding Lady Lake(s)
Looking East from Madera Peak. The Minerets, Triple Divide, Sing Peak, and Mt Ritter visible in the distance. Lady Lake below.
On top of the Sierras. Not sure how to get down...

Island Lake Backpack
Two weeks ago my dad and I packed into Island Lake, in the high wilderness of the Sierra Nevada, for a weekend getaway. It was unseasonably cold for August, but we were lucky enough to avoid rain, which can come quickly during this season in the high mountains. We did however get some snow!
Even so, the weekend was a refreshing break filled with fishing, mountain climbing, hiking, swimming, and fresh golden trout! Here are a few pics:

A New Classic
Here's a magazine ad for the new "Classic Collection" line. A different version of this ad ended up going to print, but this is my favorite.

Reflex
Here is a screenshot of an email blast I created for the new Reflex guitar and bass. The grid of thumbnails at the bottom were clickable and transitioned to a full-sized image. They were a lot of fun, and they tended to keep viewers clicking around for a few minutes. The instrument will be launched tomorrow in the US, so hopefully this email has generated some buzz among Music Man players!

Print Magazine
These were my entries for print magazine's "Address the Issues Cover Contest". World food politics are a major interest of mine. "What happened to food?" and "What is the food industry hiding from us?" are two questions I think more people should be asking.

Opportunity
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

Reveal Surf
This is a logo that I created for a mock online surf store. The project required us to create a brand and build an online store front. I've always liked the sense of motion this logo creates. It always makes me want to go surf.
Limkiln Falls
Here's a vertical panoramic of a waterfall in Big Sur. Enjoyed a spectacular hike through a lush redwood forest on the way to getting this shot.
Mystic Dream
Here's a product photography example of a John Petrucci Music Man guitar. The prismatic, color changing paint is a challenge to shoot, but looks stunning when everything comes together right!

Ben & Jerry's Package
This was a project that I did for my package design class at Cal Poly. Its a 6-pack box, for single serving Ben and Jerry's ice cream. The project required that we create the physical package and artwork, produce a high quality mockup, and a product launch campaign.
Montana De Oro Panoramic
Here's a 360 degree image of Hazards Canyon. Definitely one of my favorite local beaches, even on a hazy day.
